5 DAY COMPREHENSIVE SURFING CLINICS

Our 5 Day Comprehensive Surfing Clinics are very popular with both locals and holiday makers. Port Macquarie Surf School has conducted 5 day comprehensive surfing clinics for many years. The courses commence each Monday and are expected to be completed on the following Friday however, should "mother nature" not be co-operative over the entire 5 days, Saturdays and Sundays are an option to ensure the 5 day course is completed in full.

3 courses will be conducted:

1. Level 1 beginners. Lessons run for 2 hours and all equipment is provided including softboards, wetsuits (if required) and rash-vests.

2. Level 2 - Advanced beginners. The course is designed for those who have had a number of surf lessons in the past and therefore have a basic understanding of the ocean and how to stand. They are a great option for those who have attended lessons with Port Macquarie Surf School in the past i.e. Active After School Surfing or our daily group lessons. Lessons run for 2 hours and all equipment is provided including softboards, wetsuits (if required) and rash-vests.

3. Level 3 - intermediate course. This course is designed for surfers who have their own equipment (surfboard and wetsuit) and have a sound understanding of the basic surfing skills, can paddle through broken waves and can catch waves unassisted. You will be transported to the beach which offers the best conditions for the surfers. Lessons run for 2 hours.

Port Macquarie Surf School will not only teach you how to surf but also teach invaluable surf awareness skills –something you will use for the rest of your life. You will receive the best guidance on water safety and surf awareness whilst enjoying the 2 hour surfing experience in a fun and safe environment.

The 5 Day Surfing Clinics were initially designed for school students however we have had many parents attend with their children and is a perfect way to spend your holiday, enjoying the sun and surf with your children, as well as knowing and understanding what is being taught to your child with respect to surf safety and surf awareness. This knowledge is a valuable tool that assists parents in future years when at the beach with their children.

Cost for the 5 Day Comprehensive Surfing Clinic is $130 per student.
